Every year for Chinese New Year, one of the most important things you must buy is Bah Kwa. I love Bah Kwa the most. However ever since Mei Zhen Xiang started its rapid expansion, standard of its Bah Kwa has dropped trememdously. Thats the problem with mass production and Bah Kwas that are factory produced. Its like buying Chicken patties from Supermarket and you fry them yourself. Anyone can do it. One important thing to note. Buy your Bah Kwas now. As Chinese New Year approaches, Bah Kwa stores will start rushing their orders. Quality of the Bah Kwa will not be as good.

Mei Zhen Xiang Bah Kwa taste like crap



The Bah Kwa is so thick that even light cannot penetrate through. The edges are too charred. The meat is tough, lacking moisture and sweetness. It is as good as eating dehydrated meat coated with carbon. Yucks!
